Book Design & Layout

Focusing Outside the Frame is my MFA thesis publication, fulfilling the requirements for earning my graduate degree from MassArt’s Dynamic Media Institute.

The book — including its layout, typography, and visual structure — was designed entirely by me, pairing my writing, case studies, and my process with photography in a way that felt intentional and immersive from cover to cover. The work explores photography as a document of experience, investigating how media, data, and new technology can enrich the way we capture, share, and interact with images.
